Body & Paint

Car Painting in Nairobi

Panel painting, bumper painting and resprays — carefully prepared, colour-matched and finished.

Car Painting: an overview

A good paint job is mostly preparation. The final colour coat only looks right if the surface underneath is repaired, smooth, clean and properly primed. We paint individual panels and bumpers after repairs, and carry out larger resprays where the existing paint has faded or failed.

This service is for drivers restoring the finish after body repairs, scratches or fading, and for owners who want their vehicle to look cared-for again.

Problems we can help with

  • Faded or oxidised paint
  • Peeling or flaking clear coat
  • Scratches through the paint
  • Paint damage after an accident or repair
  • Mismatched panels from a previous repair
  • Scuffed or cracked bumpers

What we do

We start by assessing the paint and the panels involved and agreeing the scope with you: a single panel, several panels or a fuller respray.

Preparation comes next — repairing damage, sanding, filling where required, masking surrounding areas and priming. The colour is matched to your vehicle's paint, and where needed we blend into neighbouring panels so the repair is not obvious from different angles. Colour and clear coats are then applied and cured.

Finally, we inspect the finish in good light, polish where appropriate and refit any trims or parts that were removed.

Car Painting: frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to paint a car in Nairobi?

Cost depends on how many panels are painted, the condition of the existing paint, the amount of preparation and repair needed, and the type of paint finish. We inspect the car and give you a written estimate.

Can you match my car's colour?

We match the colour to your vehicle's paint and, where needed, blend into neighbouring panels. Older paint may have faded, which is why blending matters for an even appearance.

Can I get just my bumper painted?

Yes. A bumper can be painted on its own and blended to match. Minor cracks and scuffs can often be repaired before painting — see bumper repair.

How should I care for new paint?

Follow the aftercare advice we give at collection. As a general guide, avoid harsh chemicals and automatic brush car washes on fresh paint for the first few weeks.
